[Washington Post] Asian American women are closing the gap with white men, but that’s not the point: “About 72 percent of Indian-Americans have four-year college degrees, and a whopping 40 percent have some professional or graduate degree.”

But as the Asian-American population has grown (from 13 million in 2007 to 16 million in 2014), the total number of Asian-Americans living in poverty has grown as well: from 1.3 million in 2007 to 2 million in 2014.”
